Obituary

Ronald M. "Ron" Sheehan, age 88, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021.

Ron is the loving husband to Barbara (nee Feil) Sheehan; proud father to Erika (Joe) Kane, the late Corey Sheehan, Rob (Karen) Dugan, Tracy (Sheila) Sheehan, Ray (Jenny) Sheehan, and Craig (Diana) Sheehan; devoted grandfather to Andrea (Todd), Niki (Mike), Erik, Meaghan (Chris), Dillon, Matt, Sarah, Colin, Katie, Michaela, Cameron, Maggie, Daphne, Katrina, Payton, Gemma, and Dominic; great grandfather to Connor, Nate, Luke, Colton, and River; cherished son to the late Michael and Anna Sheehan; brother of the late Donald (late Dorrie) Sheehan and Norm (Roberta) Sheehan.

Ron honorably served in the United States Navy. He was a union plumber and spent the majority of his career working the for Chicago Park District. Ron was a faithful member of the St. George Catholic Church in Tinley Park.

Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2021 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Brady-Gill Funeral Home.  Ron's Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. George Catholic Church (6707 175th St, Tinley Park, IL, 60477) He will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. All in attendance for the visitation and funeral are required to wear a facial mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, family requests direct donations to The Wounded Warrior Project.
