Kenneth Hammond, age 68, retired funeral director and former manager of Kenny Brother for 38 years. Proud member of Teamsters Local 727.
Devoted son of the late Lucille M “Sue” and the Late Charles F. Hammond; loving grandson of the late Hattie M. (nee Marefke) and the late Leo J. Galbert; dear brother of the late Richard D. (Bridget nee Doogan) Hammond and Susan King; fond uncle of Aby (Mark) Lojkutz and Scott (Kellie) Ayres; great uncle Teagan McKenna, Connor Lojkutz, Brysen and Kai Ayres..
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Brady-Gill Funeral Home (16600 S. Oak Park Ave.; Tinley Park, IL 60477). Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. James the Sag Catholic Church (10600 S. Archer Ave; Lemont, IL 60439). He will be laid to rest in St. James the Sag Catholic Cemetery. Guests are encouraged to RSVP on the Brady-Gill website to reserve a time to visit with the family and to attend Ken’s funeral mass. Masks and social distancing is required. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made towards The American Kidney Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
