Daniel Floyd Henry, age 70, passed away peacefully in his home on November 18, 2021. He was well
loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Daniel was an active church member at Maranatha Christian Center where he served as an evangelist
and was affectionately known as Brother Dan. He was the loving son of Daniel Webster Henry and Lois
(Murphy) Henry; adoring father of four beautiful daughters, Danita (Wilton), Dana (Anthony), Denise
(Flenory) and Donna; proud grandfather to Ronald, Sean, Shane, Tylor, Trevon, Amari and Wilton
Alexander (predeceased); cherished brother to Donald (Yvonne), Louise, Carolyn (Cristder), Sandra,
Wilma, Madeline (Mark), Charlene, Rosa, Darren, Cynthia, Derrick (Tauresha) and Dwayne (Adrien); and loving
uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.
He was also a proud veteran that served in the United States Army. He loved the Lord deeply and was
passionate about sharing that love. He had a contagious smile that lit up every room and was an
attentive listener that had a way of making you feel like you could conquer the world after just one
conversation with him. To know him was to love him. To see him was to see a man that carried the
everlasting peace of Jesus with him.
