Obituary

Arthur John Devisme, 74, of Tinley Park passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 13th, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 46 years to Alayne Carol Devisme (nee Carlson) and  Loving father of Jennifer (Daniel Klomparens) Devisme. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Marjorie Devisme. Arthur retired from the CN-ICR Railroad after 46 years of service. He was a Viet Nam Air Force Veteran having earned the rank of Sargent. He proudly had his commercial license to pilot a single engine plane, was an avid reader and loved all genres of music. He was a longtime fan of the Chicago White Sox, Blackhawks and Bears. Funeral Thursday, 11:00 AM at Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Arthur’s name to P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park, 8301 W. 191st St., Tinley Park, IL 60487 would be appreciated. Due to covid restrictions, only a limited amount of guests can be present at any time.
