Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. Our son graduated in 2012, he never met Jimmy...I wish he had because your son sounds like a wonderful young man. No words can express how sorry we are for your loss. God bless you all and may Jimmy find peace now.

I want to send my deepest Condolences to the Walsh Family. Jim and I worked together at radioman before he went to the air force. He was so kind and fun to work with we grew to know each other and keep in touch even though he was miles away. Working at radioman we gave him the name Scratch due to his writing was like chicken scratch but he will be greatly missed.

Friend "Sister"
I am very sorry for your loss. I know I didn't know the family that well but Jimmy means the world to me. He always called me his "sister" and I love him like a brother. May he rest in paradise.

Our hearts go out to you in this most terrible time. We too lost our son, just last September. He was a firstie and would have graduated in May, 2013. I've given Janet our contact info to pass on to you--please call if you would like to talk or if there is ANYTHING we can do to help. In the meantime, I hope you will find some small measure of comfort in this poem, which we used at Matthew's memorial service here in Dallas:
Here, freed from pain, secure from misery, lies
A child, the darling of his parents’ eyes;
A gentler Lamb ne’er sported on the plain,
A fairer flower will never bloom again.
Few were the days allotted to his breath;
Now let him sleep in peace his night of death.
