Beloved husband of Linda Waitkus; loving father of Natale Waitkus and Luke (Jennifer) Waitkus; proud grandfather of Brycen and Ashlee; loving son-in-law of Charles and Berniece Packwood. Dear son of the late James and Melvina Waitkus. Funeral Tuesday, 9:30 am from the Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 2929 W. 87th St., Evergreen Park to St. Thomas More Church. Mass 10 am. Dear Linda and fmily, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Jim was an exceptional person, always there for anyone in need. He was a good friend and neighbor to our parents, a good friend and "adoptive" parent to my children, and a blessing to everyone whose life he touched. He will be so missed.
