Marianne M. Copps

Born: 13-Aug-23     Died: 12-Jun-05

Marianne M. Copps Marianne M. Copps nee Steffek...Age 81...died peacefully on June 12, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Although the cancer ultimately won, she fought hard until the end. Remember her as a proud, strong, loving woman who loved and protected her family like a lioness protects her young. Marianne had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. She told it like it was and never took any "guff" from anyone. She leaves behind many family members and friends who will miss her greatly. Her husband John Copps will miss her most of all. Although she gave birth to Diane, Howard, Nancy, and Amy, many others thought of her as "Mom" as well. We are her loving children---Diane and Robert Mack, the late Howard Bullock, Amy Abraham, Karl Schaefer, Nancy Schaefer and William Knight. We are her loving grandchildren---Dave (Jill) Mack, Thom (Katie) Mack, Andrea Schaefer, Erik Schaefer, Billy Bullock. Jimmy Bullock, and Danny Bullock. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Marianne (a.k.a. Marian) was a delightful, honest, beautiful, and interesting person. At the wake and funeral we would like for you to come and share your "Marian" stories with us. Resting at The Brady Gill Funeral Home 16600 S. We have been so fortunate to have known Marriane for over 25 years. She was a great woman, a true fighter, with a strong and witty sense of humor that everyone loved about her. We have shared many fun filled family gatherings in the past years which will always stay imprinted in our memories and in our hearts. It was a very sad day to know that Marrianne had
