I had heard of Mark years before I'd actually met him.... In 1991 I started working with this very intelligent, highly professional woman who had business skills and personal manners I tried so to emulate - Susan Salvino Kehoe. I came to find out she had learned a great portion of this skill set from Mark, her father. Susan often sought his advice in business matters, quoted him and spoke admiringly of his wisdom and strength. After I did get to meet him and his wife and spend time with them at their home and at horse races I saw first hand that all her praise and admiration was legitimate and deserved ... what a role model! What a gentleman! My condolances to all his family and close friends who have lost daily contact with this fine, fine person.

We met Mark and Elinor through the grand opporunity of training their beautiful treasured horses In Texas. Even though we did not get to see you personally the connection was always made through your horses and two of your wonderful children, Susan and her husband Michael.
