Uncle Matt, Im going to miss you. It still hasn’t set yet that you’re not here. I’m going to miss our crap talking on one another’s football team. Tomorrow is the first Vikings Bears game i can remember not texting you. But I’m glad you are out of pain. I love you so much uncle matt. God received an angel a few days ago. Watch over us. I’ll see you again one day. This will be the only time you hear me say this... Go Bears. I love you Uncle Matt. Rest piecefully.

Matt...I don't even know where to begin. Typing this is difficult as it is. I will never forget all the memories you and I shared. As we got older, we hung out less and less; however we always made sure to contact one another all the time. You always made sure to remind me how much of an idiot I was growing up. We would laugh about all the stuff we did as kids. You would always ask me about police stories and follow it up by reminding me about the time I got arrested. I am going to miss your terrible text message jokes and our yearly football bears vs packers banter. We would call one another every once in a while to talk about private stuff in our lives. I am really going to miss you a ton man. Everyday since you have been gone, I see stuff that reminds me of you and now I have nobody to share that humor with. I will never forget the day you tricked me into thinking you were in my town at 3am and I fell for it by a location tag on facebook. Tomorrow is when I have to say my final goodbye. Good byes are always tough....knowin g they are final makes it that much harder. I want you know that you will never be forgotten by anyone. I will always have our memories with me til I see you again...the lego stories, the forts, the childhood arguments, and of course the bicycle and sneaking out with fireworks. I am sure you will be smiling down on us right now. Til we meet again....

your friend,

I will always cherish the moments we had together, you always knew how to make us laugh. We will love and miss you Matt.

Uncle Matt, you will always be in my heart. I'll always remember you for your goofy personality, your love of animals, your fear of insects, and all things that are good. Although you are not here physically, I know you're here spiritually. I will never forget the time you took Jacob, Alyssa, and I to 7/11 and bought us all slurpies. I remember I had the best time because I had never been to a 7/11 before and we all had so much fun. I know I'll see you again. I love you forever and always.
