Uncle Melvin was a wonderful person. He was always so kind and caring to my mother (his sister). He will be missed by many. He, Aunt Mary, Grandpa, Grandma, all the sisters and brothers will be together again. Rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Bert's passing. The McKimsons were neighbors to the back of us, in Hometown. Such a wonderful family. My heart goes out to the family.

Bob and family

Very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a great guy and now is at peace with our Lord. Can't make the service but you are in my prayers my friend. God Bless

Bert hired me in the summer of 1967. He taught me how to move a wheelbarrow full of concrete, carry a full bundle of shingles up a ladder to a roof, drive his dump truck to pick up materials for the jobs and run loads of trash to the dump along with how to be a good tradesman. I will never forget his positive get it done attitude.
Betty & I were in the same class at OLL & OLCHS.

Enjoyed many a fly-in fishing trip up in Canada with Bert! He was an awesome guy to fish with. He’ll be missed.
