My sincere condolences to you all—already wrote a note in this space but had such difficulty gettin the code decifered any way my memories of Bob and Kay back on the farm in Lost Island and at the Lutheran church ,etc are such wonderful memories but how times have changed— for the better— who knows . I’m on the farm in summer but visit kids around the country during winter taking me to warmer climates . Hoe all’s well with you all. Bob would call and we’d update on our families —missed him last summer ! God bless his memory .

I just found out about Bob’s passing . He would give me a call once every summer when I was back on the farm in Lost Island . He and Wayne were good friends those many years ago—great times! Then Bob and Kay and girls moved to Chicago for new opportunities—m issed them for sure but they would stop by for visits when returning to IA to visit friends and relatives and thro the years we kept in touch. Indeed Bob was a man who really had a wonderful giving spirit example of he slipped a 5$ bill to one of my granddaughters for we were going to WI next day(after Wayne’s passing) Bob was so kiind and generous Aspecial place for him and Kay together in heaven—God bless. his memory !
