My condolences to 'Melanie's family and friends. I have such good memories of our high school days and like to think that Mel and I were BFFs during those days. When the tornado took our home in our senior year Mel opened her home and closet :) to me. Time and distance estanged us but everytime I thought of her it was with fondness and a wish that we could have remained close. Blessings and prayers to her family and friends.

Sonny! I've been thinking of you all week, asking God to comfort you and give you peace as you mourn Melanie's loss. I will miss her - her goodness through and through, her love of life, her joy in her family, her smile and laughter, her big and giving heart, and her love for you.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful video of Menanie's life. I am praying for you and the family.

Dear Sonny,
Although it's been many, many years since HS and all the great kids in St. Rita parish, I offer you sincere condolences for the loss of your wife. Melanie must have been a wonderful person, being married to a class act like yourself. Again, my deepest sympathies & prayers to you & your family. Jim Gardner, St. Rita H.S., class of 1962.
