Margaret E. Ahern, age 95. Beloved wife of the late James J. Loving mother of Patrick, Maurice (Lana), James (Joyce), Mary (William) DeKlerk, John, Daniel (Dawn), Helen (Mark) Pulice and Vincent. Proud grandmother of Brian, Michelle, Meg, Liz, Bill, Tony, Chris, Danny, Steph, Mark and Angie cherished great-grandmother of Kritsana, Brandon, Nick, Brock, Sammy, Mark, Kerstin, Jacob and Kate and Devoted great-great-grandmother of Ryan and Dylan. The Ahern family wishes to thank Salem Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for providing 24 years of exemplary care for our Mother, truly becoming her extended family and loving home. We also would like to exend a thank you to Joliet Community Hospice for their compassionate end of life care as our Mother peacefully transitioned into eternity. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 am from the Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, to St. Julie Billiart Church. Mass 10:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Mom will truly be missed here, her gentile smile and soft spoken words. I will always think of her on Aug.5th as a day we shared.
