It is so hard to imagine this world without such a unique and vivacious woman. She always knew how to make someone feel special. And the stories she could tell about her many trips abroad. She had a way of telling them and making you feel as if you were there, too. I will never forget the visit I had in Chicago and the wonderful tour I was given...not to mention the four star accommodations at Chateau Story. I hope Val is enjoying this post. You will never be forgotten. Loved and Missed Dearly...
To Steve and Val's Family- Please take comfort in knowing that she definitely not only made a difference in your life, she made one in mine, too. Love Always, Tiffany and Family

We are very much saddened to hear of Valerie's passing. She was a sweet and loving person, taken too soon. I remember the day Steve and Val were married - I was just a teeny-bopper, and theirs was the first wedding I had ever attended. They were such a loving couple, and our prayers go out to Steve (and Val's family) in this difficult time. Rest in peace, Val...

I am truly devastated by the loss of Val. She was an absolutely Amazing Funny Genuine person. I was blessed to know her and see her every month for over 20 years. She made me laugh every time I saw her with her incredible personality. I pray for Steve to have strength to get thru this absolutely difficult time as well as her family who I feel like I know from all her great stories.
Val was always so supportive to me and my life trials. Especially while I was losing my Dad to Lung cancer. Steve and her honored my Dad without ever knowing him by having a Beer in memory of him at Starve Rock while watching the Bald Eagles fly. This was on his bucket list which he never got to do. It ment the world to me that they would think of my Dad and honor him in that way. That's the special kind of woman she was. Rest in peace Val. I'm a better person for knowing and having you in my life. XOXO
