Saddened to hear about the passing of Joe Morenzoni. Played for him on the Mohawks also and have my best memories from that time. Along with the other Fathers from Tommy More I've tried to teach my players the same way I was taught. Practice like you play and most important have fun. I will keep Joe and the entire Morenzoni family in my daily prayers. May he Rest in Peace and be welcomed home by St Thomas More. Thanks Joe for everything.

Joe was my boss at Manifold Business forms from 1978 to 1982. It was a long time ago but I never forgot about him. He was a good boss and a good man. My heart goes out to the family. God bless

Joe was one of my first baseball coaches with the Mohawks of the Wrightwood Baseball Assoc. from 1972-1974.....I would actually go to his house for pitching practice and either he or Joe Jr. would catch me.....I really honed my skills thanks to him and went on to pitch at Div. I college no small part to Joe. He would teach us pitchers, don't aim, just throw. I can still see him playing 16" softball at Rosenwald while his VW microbus is parked on Talman Ave. RIP and thanks for your military service.
