I will remember Sharon as one of my very best friends, who was more like a sister to me. She was there for me when i needed someone the most at a very bad time in my life. We shared many good memories and laughter together, I will miss her very much. Bob, Tom and Mark, my prayers are with you and your families.
Your mom was a wonderful friend, mother, and grandmother.
Her passing came as a shock to us all, and Im very sorry I couldn't be there at this sad time .

Bobby, Tom, and Mark and families: Our deepest sympathies to all of you. I loved Aunt Sharon --- she was so compassionate and loving. When I would see her, she would always genuinely ask how I was doing. Ever since those early days at Grandma and Grandpas OR at your home - Aunt Sharon always took a genuine interest in all of us. I remember having nice talks with her at Ma's house --- sitting at the kitchen table --- catching up with what everybody was doing. I will miss her. Our heart goes out to all of you...Lou and Tracy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Schendl family at this time. Sharon's death came as a shock to all of us. We have many great memories of Sharon. She was such a wonderful person. She truly cared for everyone she met and treated everyone so graciously. Sharon and my mom had so much fun together and were quite a force to be reckoned with when they teamed up. We will cherish the memories and good times we all had with her. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Sharon, we love you and miss you.

I totaly agree with the comments that have been written here about Mrs. Schendl. I always enjoyed talkng with her. She was a very nice thoughtful person & a great friend to my Mom & to all of us. I will miss her pulling up in her car to stop me on my walks in Hickory to talk. I agree with Pattie the world is less beautiful without Mrs.Schendl in it.

Mrs. Schendl was a great lady beautiful inside and out. I always enjoyed taking to Mrs. Schendl always a smile on her face. STM was the best neighborhood we started out as neighbors and as the years past we all became one big family. I know my mom is really going to miss her buddy.
The world is less beautiful without Mrs.Schendl in it.

There is not enough space to write about Mrs. Schendl. Not only was she my friends mom, she was my friend. The best times of my life, was from my STM days. SEIPP street neighbors, who were FAMILY. Fr Brankin once said... HOME is where you hang your hat. STM , SEIPP st will always be home. Mr and Mrs Schendl were the best. Im so sad of her passing, yet so darn proud and lucky for her to be a part of my life. STAND TALL BOB, TOM, and MARK... lets celebrate her life with great stories.. she will be missed, but will live in our hearts forever!

Mrs. Schendl was a great neighbor & friend to many of us & so many lasting friendships came from the old neighborhood, it was the best place to grow up because of wonderful folks like Mrs. S. who always made you feel welcomed & to include you in things. What a great Lady & gone too soon but will never be forgotten & we are all richer for knowing both Mrs. Schendl & Mr. Schendl who are together again & Bob, Tom & Mark are not so bad either! Our deepest sympathies on the loss of a wonderful Lady!
