My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Tydd family today. Danny was the cool older "brother" next door who teased Brian and I relentlessly as we were growing up , but always with a smile and a big heart. I have fond memories of him playing with us,and taking us for rides in his Mustang.

My prayers and condolences go out to all the Tydd family at this time of great loss. I miss the visits as a kid and listening to many hours of great rock music with my Uncle Dan.

DTydd was like a father to me. He taught me so many things and spent so much time with me. I don't know how he put up with me, but he would always let me come back to the house no matter what...even if I had my shoes on the wrong feet and chocolate all over my face. I love his whole family dearly and can't express enough gratitude toward all of them. I will always have him in my heart! Love, Bon Jovi.

As my next door neighbor Danny was six years older than I was and taught me alot of wonderful things at any early age that I needed to know and not know.

We built a mini bike together. I think I was about ten years old and Danny said get on Paul. Danny didn't tell me he had the throttle locked open and there were no brakes. I ended up going about a half a block and running into the neighbors bushes. Danny was laughing all the way why the neighbor was yelling at me about the damage to the bushes.

Danny made me shed a tear in first grade when he told me Santa Clause wasn't real.
Today again I shed a tear for the entire Tydd family and extended Tydd family.

Danny had the smile and wonderful personality that his mother had that we all will miss.

To the Tydd family,
Deeply saddened by the news of Dan's passing. We had each hoped for better and Dan will be deeply missed.
We'll recall countless memories of Dan, mostly laughter and the twinkle in his eye.
Won't be the same listening for Dan rolling up on Josie, for we know he will miss the time he spent riding.

May Dan now catch all those few fish that did get away.

God Bless Dan and the entire Tydd familiy
