Gertrude B. Kozak-Ryan of Tinley Park, IL, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 18, 2013. Gertrude was born in Waukegan, Illinois on August 28, 1926. Beloved wife of the late Michael Kozak and the late Edmund S. Ryan. Loving mother of Maryanne (Ray) Wigent and Margaret Drungle. Proud grandma of Rhonda (Jim) Lemke, Suzanne (Lee Martin) Danhauer, Peter Drungle, Ronald (Fiona) Prince, Natalie (Britt) Van Dalen and Gerritt Prince; Cherished great-grandma of Hayden, Evan, Ryan, Caroline and William . Devoted sister of Betty Turturillo and the late George Robinson. Fond aunt of Angela Turturillo, Joseph Turturillo, Joanne Person, Jeffrey Turturillo, Paul Turturillo, George Robinson, Kathleen Galligan, David Robinson, Thomas Ryan and Michelle Ryan. Funeral Friday, 11:00 am from the Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park to St. George Church. Mass 11:30 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2 to 9 pm. Dearest Maryanne and Rhonda,
We are so very sorry for your loss of such a wonderful woman. I had the joy of meeting her many years back. She is resting easy with God now. Maybe even listening to my dad tell fish stories. Our deepest sympathy to you both and your entire family.
