Our deepest sympathy to the O'Keeffe Family. As Irish cousins from Cork in Ireland, we were honoured to meet Joan & Jack at their lovely home all the way back in 1997. Their warm welcome, sense of decency and above all a sense of ease and fun remains with us still. A lovely lady. As we say in gaelic, "Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam" Gary & Noreen Kearney

Every time I admire a bird on the wing or hear a wry joke I will think of Joan. I will think of her every time I see meadow on Wagner Farm in Glenview. I am honored to have known such a lady. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I am sorry for your loss. Your mother was a lovely lady. I remember going birding with her once here in New Mexico and she got to see a Whooping Crane in the wild - a life bird for her (and most people). I hope she is flying with the birds right now.

Bob & I were so happy to have spent time with Joan and the cousins the past two Christmases, thinking there will be many more. . . Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
