Sharon L. Haberkorn nee Botica. Age 59. Beloved wife of William. Loving sister of Ronald (Barbara) Botica and Diane Botica. Dear aunt of Carolen Welch and Jacquelen Krupko as well as a special aunt and great-aunt to all The Haberkorn nieces and nephews. Loving daughter of the late Lou and Marcella Botica. Dear daughter-in-law of John and Pearl Haberkorn. Dear niece of Louise Botica and the late Frank, Jack, Joe, Nick Botica, Al Lekis and Michaelene Ragis. Funeral Wednesday, 10:15 am from the Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 2929 W. 87th St., Evergreen Park to St. Bernadette Church. Mass 11 am. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 2 to 9 pm. For 29 years Sharon has battled Systemic Lupus and End Stage Renal Disease with grace, dignity and a positive attitude. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, c/o June Ulrey, 420 E. Superior St., Rubloff 9th Floor, Chicago, IL 60611 in Sharon’s honor. Sharon was my dear friend since freshman year in high school. 45 years this wonderful, kind and caring person was there with me to share our ups and downs and in between.
