Thank you for being a good husband to my daughter and good father to my grandchildren.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of this great person. I saw how he took such great care and was so supportive to his wife Pat while she had fallen ill. Pat constantly would say how much he loved his girls and grandkids. I had only met Ed a few times and can see he was truly a remarkable person and I wish I had gotten the chance to have known him better.

Our love and prayers go out to the family.

On this Father's Day, 2010, he will finally be without pain and get to rest in peace.

Ed, my friend, you will be missed dearly by all of us you have known and touched. As the words in the Marine Corps Hyme says, "You are now guarding

the streets in Heaven".

Semper Fi, Marine.

Pat,

So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Knowing that he is now in a better place and pain-free, doesn't make it any easier, we know, but we can all take solace in knowing that Ed has joined the countless legion of saints awaiting our joining him in anticipation of the return of the Savior and the resurrection of all the saints when the new kingdom arrives!

Our best wishes for you, and all your family during this time of grief.

Ed, Now that you are in heaven, please don't bug the Lord or Angels to help the White Sox win the World Series. Sure will miss the updates about all the sports/politics from the Chicago area. Love you all....
