My son Jeff beat me to the things I can thank Al for, except my list was not quite as long as Jeff's.

I will remember Al for many things, not the least of which was his wry sense of Humor. Al had a great way of cleverly responding to mundane questions or situations in a manner that made everyone in earshot laugh.

Two incidents I will never forget are (1) his response to his wife Judy after a night of Family Partying and (2) his response to simple question I asked him while we were busily cooking together in his kitchen.
