Dearest Mr. Small,

My meeting with you was brief and only once. I am Vivian, the nurse who sat with you on Saturday, shortl y after your your wife passed. You shared with me that you and Barbara had been together 44 years and loved to travel. I knew you were going to visit Barb's favorite spots. It was, and is apparent that your lovely lady was truly a special person and that you have a host of relatives and friends who cherished her. I am sorry for your loss and I even more sorry to have left you so abruptly. Please know that you and yours are in our prayers during this difficult time. Take care and God bless you. Vivian

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mrs. Small walking up and down the block (Alameda) and stopping to say "hi" or see what us kids were up to. I can distinctly remember her always giving you a little smile or soft chuckle as she passed.

Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Ann
