I met Chris when I was 15 and even then he lived through his music. He was a wonderful boy who grew into a wonderful man. I am so glad he knew the joys of fatherhood - I'm sure he was the best in the time he had with his children. I did not know he was ill or find out about his death until 2011 and still can not believe he is gone. As for Solo - he fought me on getting a dog, so I convinced him we should be "foster" parents. I think Solo was with us for about 2 minutes and if her original owner had shown up Chris would have done anything he could to keep her. He taught her to play the piano and sing and, yes, I'm sure they are doing that together now. Although I've been happily married to someone else for 25 years now I know I, and anyone who ever knew him, will miss him daily.

Chris is and always will be my dear friend. There are a few people in your life that you can truly feel an unconditional bond with. I always knew Chris was there for me if I needed him. Whenever something happened...the first person I would think to call was Chris. When I did he always had an ingenious way of making me laugh....he had an amazing witt and insight to things. We shared our love of animals...espec ially dogs. He is with Solo now I am sure...he adored her and she him.
