I remember my grandmother as a quiet, loving woman.

Carol Sue Koonce 05-18-2003 15:42

She was refined in that she was

The purest of heart...

Cultured in that she always tried to

Do what was right and taught the Difference between right and wrong...

She was of strong will in that she knew

What her desires were and always had

A purpose..

She was both charming and dignified

With a fabulous smile that coud light

Up your heart in times of distress.

Always patient, kind, and loving...

A true nurturer...

A loving wife...

My loving mother...

We will all miss her dearly.

The thing about memories is they

Go on forever.I for one will

Always remember that her lips were

As smooth and soft as velvet.

A single kiss somehow always made Things seem that much better.

Anyone that knew her knew

She was truely a woman

Of great faith and hope

We should rest assured that just as I do

She believed in Gods promise of a life

Ever after. Eternity.

A righteous woman as she was

Could have had no other outcome.

Ode to my mother!

I know one thing about my gramma and that is that she is a strong woman she loves and cares for her family so much she truly has a heart of gold!!Even though I wasn't able to see my gramma very much those few times I saw her were the best!!I remember how my mom told me that my gramma flew all the way down to Ukiah just to see me right after I was born and all though I wasn't old enough to know who she was I new she was there and that was imbeded in my heart for ever!Well I know that my gramma will be missed and when I have kids I will tell them how great their great gramma was!!She will never be forgotten in my heart and I will never ever let her be forgotten in others hearts either!!We love her and miss her and know she is watching over us in good times and bad!!We love you!

Don's mom was a very strong woman to have all the kids she had. She devoted her life to her children, whom she loved very much and they in turn loved her very much. It showed towards the end, in how her daughters & sons were with her to comfort her through those painful last weeks. Yvonne will have a place in heaven for all she has done. As will Arlene with all the running back and forth and Rose and Don being there to help Yvonne deal with the everyday issues. You really know how strong a family is during times like this. Our sympathy to the Koonce Family.
