Truly the most remarkable woman I have ever met. There will always be a special place in my heart for Mrs. Brudd. God bless

I just found out at this late date that Mildred died.

Mrs. Brudd was one of the best and most inspirational teachers I've ever had. Her passion and flair for education, and most importantly books, took me in. Although I only knew her for a short time, we quickly became friends. We shared the love of music and literature and there was an instant bond. I will always remember her and she will be deeply missed. I will remember the walks we took and the interesting and sometimes wild conversations we had, and the "secret of the windchimes". I will never meet such an extraordinary woman in my life as "Mrs. B" was. My deepest sympathies go out to all other hearts that she has touched... we lost a beautiful soul.

We admired Millie for the intelligence, creativity and energy she brought to everything she did, and we loved her for being sweet Millie.

Bob, our prayers are with you and Millie will be missed by far more people than you can possibly imagine. She was a very gracious lady and everybody that met her felt fortunate to have known her.We hope that you will call on us if there is anything we can do to make things easier for you, Burt and Gloria Ballou

I onlly met Millie once at the San Diego Koi Show this last February. I immediatly liked her and really enjoyed talking to her. She was going to write articles for KOI USA Magazine as soon as she retired. I was really looking forward to reading them.

Millie made a big impression on me and our son Ryan.

We wish Bob the best.
